Grocery shopping. Soccer practice. Dirty dishes. Motherhood is tough, and it often feels like the to-do list just gets longer and longer every day - making it hard to experience true joy in God, our children, and the gospel. In this encouraging book for frazzled moms, Gloria Furman helps us reorient our vision of motherhood around what the Bible teaches. Showing how to pursue a vibrant relationship with God - even when discouragement sets in and the laundry still needs to be washed - this book will help you treasure Christ more deeply no matter how busy you are. 1. In the upscale suburb where Vanessa Bolton lives, she´s your average suburban housewife. She does her grocery shopping on Tuesday, Thursday mornings are reserved for Pilates, Sundays for church. At home, she´s an impeccable housekeeper and a mother with a mediocre track record. But in discreet hotel rooms throughout the city, she can be whatever you want her to be—provided you can afford the hourly fee. In the rapidly expanding cult to which she belongs, Vanessa has been assigned the role of a ´´Siren´´—a recruiter trained to use seduction to elicit compliance from her marks. Vanessa´s latest assignment—an unsuspecting chemist merely looking for something without strings—proves to be her toughest yet. Unwilling to neatly slide into the roles society has prescribed for them, the two collide in a sensual and savage affair that threatens not only their own lives but also those they seek to protect most. Featuring ´´tantalizing suspense, pulse-pounding danger, sex, and double-dealing,´´ Speak of the Devil is a timely and riveting psychological thriller that is impossible to put down.

Mrs. Helen Ryan the young beautiful wife of Dr. Herbert Ryan is shopping in her favourite grocery store, when a sordid episode from her past slams into her. You see, as college juniors seven years previous, she and three friends took their spring break in Las Vegas, working the two weeks as high priced call girls. Her working name had been April Showers and now, someone behind her, someone she dared not look at, is calling her April. In a panic, she rushes into and hides in the ladies room. When she thinks the coast is clear, she rushes through the checkout stand looking wide eyed at everyone, wondering if the person who called her April is still around. Is he watching her?Breathing a sigh of relief, Helen heads to her posh Paradise Valley home in her BMW and alleged safety, only to find out nothing is safe for April Showers, any more. As the man who accosted her in the store aggressively confronts her, she realizes, for better or worse, her life will never be the same again.April Showers is about wild sex that entails everything from forced sex to exhibitionism to prostitution to multiple partners. There’s no pretence and for lack of a better word, it’s erotica in its rawest form. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Emily Locke. Hallo, We are looking for approximately 10-20 hours of daytime help per week, as well as an occasional evening babysitter for my two boys, ages 2 and 4. We will be traveling for several weeks in August and September, so some breaks will be included. We are new to Eckernförde and unfortunately do not speak Deutsch. Ideally we would like someone that speaks both Deutsch and English that can spend several hours a day with me and our boys. The job would include assistance during our morning routine, navigating the area, time on the beach, siteseeing, grocery shopping together, occupying the children, and occasionally spending time alone with the children while I run errands. This a great job for someone young looking to practice their English skills and that enjoys children. Previous experience with caring for children preferred.
In Stone Cold, Police Chief Jesse Stone has a problem - actually, two problems - dead bodies turning up, and no clues. A man takes his dog out for a run on the beach, only to be discovered hour later with two holes in his chest. A woman drives her Volvo to the mall to do some grocery shopping, never makes it back to her house and is found dead. Investigating a serial killer in an affluent suburban town is difficult, and with the added pressures from the town selectmen and media, the heat is turned up on Jesse. The harder these outside forces push against him, the more Jesse retreats into himself, convinced - despite all the odds - that it´s up to him alone to stop the killing. 1. Language: English.
