The World's Smallest Bible chronicles the seriocomic boyhood of Ethan and Jeremiah Mueller in Mill Town, Pennsylvania, during the height of World War II. As they lose friends and neighbors to the front lines, the boys try to make sense of the mounting darkness with their imaginations - except in their world, no one ever dies. In a private, laconic language, they invent stories that mirror the irrational world around them: A chaplain with bad news becomes the Angel of Death, skeletal Nazis lurk around the corner, and the ghost of a dead playmate taps at their bedroom window in the night. With startling lyricism and narrative grace, Dennis Must has fashioned an indelible vision of the Mueller boys' blighted youth. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Tim Halligan. Ah, money. There's nothing like the sound of coins clinking in your hands. You vastly prefer it to the sound of coins clinking in someone else's hands, or the sound of coins just sitting there in a pile that no-one can quite reach without getting up. Getting up, that's all behind you now. Life has been good to you. Just ten years ago, you were tilling your own fields in a simple straw hat. Today, your kingdom stretches from sea to sea, and your straw hat is the largest the world has ever known. You also have the world's smallest dog, and a life-size statue of yourself made out of baklava. Sure, money can't buy happiness, but it can buy envy, anger, and also this kind of blank feeling. You still have problems - troublesome neighbors that must be conquered. But this time, you'll conquer them in style. This is the 4th addition to the game of Dominion. It adds 25 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, plus 2 new Basic cards that let players keep building up past Gold and Province. The central theme is wealth, there are treasures with abilities, cards that interact with treasures, and powerful expensive cards.

“In the end, only three things matter. How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.” (Unknown)It was a big lie. The biggest lie she’d ever told. It reverberated through her head as she said it, ringing eerily, and the girl behind her eyes - the girl who knew the truth - screamed, and her scream echoed along with the lie.“Are you in love with Noah, Mercedes?” Cora asked. “I mean . . . I know you love him. You’ve been friends forever. We all have. But are you in love with him?”If it had been anyone else - anyone - Mercedes would have stuck out her chest, folded her skinny arms, and let her feelings be known. She would have claimed him. But it was Cora. Brave, beautiful, broken Cora, and Cora loved Noah too.So Mercedes lied. And with that lie, she lost him. With that lie, she sealed her fate. She was the best friend, the bridesmaid, the godmother, the glue. She was there for the good times and the bad, the ups and the downs, the biggest moments and the smallest parts. And she was there when it all came crashing down. This is the tale of the girl who didn’t get the guy. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Almarie Guerra. Myro the Microlight is the Smallest Plane in the World! He loves to fly and he loves to sing! Christopher Biggins narrates the second in the series of six audio books about Myro's adventures "Down Under" in awesome Australia. Introduction Just when Myro thought Australia couldn't get any hotter, a rip-roaring bushfire flares up. It's a good thing the Smallest Plane in the World can think as fast as he can fly! But will he radio "Mayday! Mayday!" in time? Can humongous Hana the Hercules put the fire out before his friends are singed like sausages on a barbie? Join Myro as he ducks and dives through smoke and flames to save the day! Detail Myro, the Smallest Plane in the World, is settling in to his new home in Australia, but it's a day hotter than anything he's known before. His pilot and the farmer are fishing at the cool billabong when Myro hears the frantic stampede of animals from the bush... a fire is raging, and it's coming closer! Two ultralight aeroplanes are trapped in their hangar and Myro can't get any response to his MAYDAY call. His only choice is to fly without his pilot until he gets a signal. The brave little plane takes off through the thick black smoke to call the control tower, and an emergency team is scrambled to the rescue. Myro might have broken the rules to fly alone, but now he's a hero. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Christopher Biggins. Young listeners will adore these two inspirational children's stories: A grandfather tells the story of Jesus' birth and how he found his star in The History of Christmas; a charming metaphor on the discovery of self-worth and the following of one's destiny. The Smallest Mouse in Town convinces himself that he is a giant and in the end proves that the most important thing is to be who you are no matter what. After all, liking yourself is one of life's most important lessons. Both narrations are accompanied by original music composed by Ken Heller. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Jack Lemmon. Mandala - a symbol of an ancient and sacred ritual. The colored sand is decomposed in such a way as to create a symbolic map of the world, and then the system is destroyed in a special ceremony, and the sand itself is thrown into the river. In the Mandala 2-player card game you will do your best to score more points than your opponent. The problem is that you'll only determine the value of individual cards during the game! So you have to develop strategies and carefully lay out the colored cards in such a way as to get the most out of the collected sets. What is it about? On the canvas playing mat we find two mandalas which are our play area. Each of them is divided into a common zone and two parts belonging to the players. This means that each participant can play cards in two common areas and two parts of the mandala on their side of the table. During the game we will add cards from our hand to the selected mandala. Each player can only act in his own area and in the common area, but beware - only cards from the common area will be used for scoring! Certain restrictions apply to the lecture: one color may appear in the mandala only once. If we want to add a card of the color that is already on the mandala, we have to add it to the other one. In practice, this means that the color on the opponent's side can no longer be added to this mandala. When a set of 6 colors appears on one of the mandala, it is destroyed. Cards from the players' spaces are discarded, and those from the middle are divided among the players. One by one, the players choose a color and add all the cards from their pool to that color. Here, the point value of each color is determined: the first one we draw will be worth 1 point for each card we have, the second for 2, etc. The game ends when one of the players has all 6 suits or the pile of cards is exhausted. Why will you love this game? This is one of those titles that we learn quickly (often during the game), and the real possibilities lie in skilful planning. We must use the available cards wisely to collect as many points as possible on the one hand, and to give the opponent the smallest possible chance to implement their plans on the other. Mandala is a very neutral title: it has no plot and no self-imposed atmosphere, which makes it even more universal. We can safely offer it to children, teenagers, adults and the elderly. The game pleases the eye thanks to its unusual design - instead of a classic cardboard board, we have an aesthetic, linen mat on which we lay the cards.
