  Sonny Gunnz is a member of the Chicano rap group The Real Brown Recluse, which originated behind the walls of Oregon State Penitentiary during mid 1990. The Real Brown Recluse is the first Chicano rap group to have recorded an entire album (Arachnophobia) from prison using the music room provided by the Penitentiary's activities department. The Real Brown Recluse's album 'Arachnophobia' can be found on various sites online. Brown Recluse members are Sonny Gunnz, Thief Sicario, Cazm One, Danger Smokes, and Brown Caesar. Extended members are LPF, Mizz Kristique among others. Sonny Gunnz' (Barrio Child) LP was recorded immediately after his release from prison (2008) and is filled with 17 bangin' tracks plus 2 bonus tracks. The album features several talented Northwest artists and proudly presents rich sounding beats produced by J-Hoch, Big C, and Prawgress to name a few. The mixing and mastering was done by none other than the mighty Brown Caesar, AKA Santotzin. Sonny Gunnz sends a special shout out to everyone who took part in this project and made his album 'Barrio Child' a reality.
