My husband is cheating on me, and I'm home alone while that prick is out with his little bimbo. My next door neighbors are home, a bunch of college guys. Young guys, young enough to be my...well, young. One is sexy. Unattached. And seems to enjoy casual sex. Did I say he was young? Well, he is. So what does a desperate wife do? The obvious: knock on the neighbor's door. What I thought was going to be a quick "wham, bam, thank you ma'am" turned into a night of having things done to me I'd only dreamed of. It made me realize how much I was missing being married to a cheater. Warning: If you're not 18 or older, please don't download this audiobook. The sharp edge of his teeth grazed my lip, the pressure intensifying, just to the point of pain. I pulled away, and for the briefest second he held on. Then he let go and smiled at me. "You're a feisty little one. I like that." No one had ever called me feisty, but I'd take the compliment. He reached up, touched my cheek with one hand. I can't say the touch was gentle, but it didn't scare me. At least, not much. "Do you want to know what else I like? What I'd like you to do for me?" I stared up. I sort of had the idea this would be him doing things to me that I wanted, which was basically having sex in my bed. But, hey, this might be a good ice breaker. ungekürzt. Language: English. Cordelia presents a unique problem for the vampire Renfield. Ordinarily, mortal women are easily manipulated and simple to seduce, but this fiery redhead is something else altogether. Why won't his usual vampire charms work? He's so captivated that he sets out to seduce her the old-fashioned way, without any of his power at work. But who's seducing whom, here? Maybe it doesn't matter because this night is filled with erotic joy. Warning: This audiobook contains very explicit descriptions of sexual activity during a paranormal sex encounter. It includes deep throat, vampire sex, oral sex, and rough sex. It is intended for mature readers who will not be offended by graphic depictions of sex acts between consenting adults. Here is a preview: “Renfield, would you like to come home with me?” The combination of her touch and her words made him jump, knocking over his scotch, ice scattering across the table. They both laughed. “I normally don’t ask men I’ve just met to come home with me.” Cordelia’s voice was soft, her eyes gleaming in the dim light of the bar. “But there’s something here I don’t understand, something about you - something familiar - that’s touched me, that I want to pursue. I think you feel it too. I’m not an impulsive person but I do believe in following my heart.” Renfield nodded his head. “I would very much like to come home with you, Cordelia.” He was excited on so many levels at the prospect of being alone with her. He realized he wanted her body, wanted to make love to her, very badly, but that wasn’t the sole driving force behind how he felt. Cordelia excused herself to the restroom. Renfield had the briefest desire to bolt from the bar; he wasn’t sure he could take the intensity of his feelings. But when he saw Cordelia walking back toward their table, her smile at seeing him lighting up her face, his doubts vanished. He stood as she reached the table and before he realized it, pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Renfi ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Jennifer Saucedo. 'An absolute marvel' Max Porter, bestselling author of Lanny'Feels like a living thing, dancing and dodging, surprising and poignant' Lisa McInerney'An unruly, provocative and stunning novel' Cillian MurphyFIRST VOICE: Why are we listening? SECOND VOICE: I dunno, I mean, what else is there to do? Tony Cooney, a local-radio DJ, spends his days on air, talking to the listeners of Cork. They call in to tell him about overturned sewage trucks and nuisance graffiti artists, each story a small testimony to the bustle of life that goes on in the county. Off air, however, Tony is beginning to feel unsettled. His long marriage is strained, his teenage daughter is struggling with her mental health, and then out of the blue an old girlfriend gets in touch and suggests he come to visit. Lou Fitzpatrick, Tony's young radio-show producer, is having her own off-air problems. She wants children, but her girlfriend has other ideas; they've lost their beloved cat and her father's drinking is way past problematic. Which is why both Tony and Lou are relieved to leave Cork and drive across Ireland as part of a radio publicity stunt organized by a local car dealership. Their aim is to give away the Mazda 2 that they're driving, the catch being that it must go to one of the many emigrants who have recently returned home to escape a wave of escalating terror attacks in London. But as they navigate dual-carriageways and Travelodges, giving airtime and narrative to the great cacophony of voices calling into the show, the car competition transforms into a surreal quest: Tony to find his first love, Lou to find answers to impossible questions, and all the while two mysterious voices listen in, making their own estimations... A mighty tale of radios, road trips and of the noisy static of life, All Along the Echo asks us whether our lives ever add up to more than the stories we tell ourselves. Funny, warm and in the wilding spirit of George Saunders or Samuel Beckett, Danny Denton's novel is a bravura capturing of modern Ireland, one that shows us the possibilities of fiction, the nature of love and death, and what it is for each of us to be only the briefest signal in life's splendid broadcastttzchidhcmxc [static].

The prolific Domenico Alberti squeezed a surprising number of works out of a short and eventful life, achieving fame across Western Europe, particularly for the socalled 'Alberti bass', an arpeggiated style of left-hand keyboard playing. Yet his presentday reputation does not equal these heights, his fame largely limited today to his Eight Sonatas. This recording puts this to rights, showcasing Alberti as a composer who deserves to be remembered for centuries to come, as a musical poet possessed of remarkable invention and imagination.Alberti's compositions display the simplicity and sensitivity of Clementi, the vigour of Mozart and, in the briefest of moments, an almost Schubertian or Chopinesque pre-Romanticism. His keyboard compositions are generally individual movements or twopart toccatas or sonatas, the whole full of melodic echoes and intentional reworkings, which form intriguing bridges between the pieces. The three distinct periods in the composer's output of keyboard music are mirrored here by the use of organ, fortepiano and harpsichord (all of which Alberti would have had to hand in his day) - corresponding also to the period practice of 'playing on all manner of instruments', with individual pieces often not tied down to a specific instrument. This combination adds a Talented keyboardist and international award-winner Manuel Tomadin has a particular interest in Renaissance and Baroque music and historical organs. He brings all of his expertise to bear on this superb album. This 4CD set contains the complete keyboard music by Domenico Alberti, a First Recording!Domenico Alberti lived a short but very productive life, from 1710-1740. He was famous as a composer, cembalo player and singer (the world famous castrato Farinelli heard him sing, and recognised in him a fearful rival).Alberti claim to fame is his "discovery" of the so-called Alberti-bass: the accompanying left hand chord broken in a certain way (like c-g-e-g etc). This figure forms the basis of the Viennese classical style, and was used by all composers of keyboard sonatas and sonatinas. Alberti's Sonatas and Toccatas are in two movements, the first an allegro in free form, followed by a mellow andante in arioso style. In order to achieve maximum variety Manuel Tomadin performs these works on three instruments: an historic organ (1773 Francesco Dacci organ), a harpsichord and a fortepiano. Manuel Tomadin already recorded successfully for Brilliant Classics, notably the Leipziger Chorale by Bach (BC94456).Recorded in Italy in 2013 and 2014.Contains liner notes written by the artist in Italian and English.Contains a biography of the artist.Contains a full organ specification.
