Collide: The Secret Life of Trystan Scott, Volume 1 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 149min
Volume 1 in the TRYSTAN SCOTT Serials by NY Times Bestselling Author H.M. Ward When Mari accidentally overhears that Trystan is in love, she can't believe it. He's pining over some girl that doesn't know he's alive. The confident swagger and endless stream of girls is a facade. It conceals his loneliness and hides how messed up he's really become trying to flee from a life that's battered him to his core. Trystan tries to figure out how to make it clear how much he loves Mari, but every insincere kiss and every broken promise haunts him, because she knows them all. Now, Trystan has to prove to the one girl he's actually fallen in love with that she's not just another conquest. Mari has no idea who Trystan loves, but she can tell that whoever it is has captured his heart entirely. Soon Mari sees the man behind the mask, the guy that Trystan tries so hard to hide. Everything about him is appealing, and too hard to resist. In a moment of desperation, Trystan uploads a love song he wrote for Mari, but before he can show it to her, the video goes viral. Everyone wants to know who he is, and the only thing shielding him is an anonymous account name and some thick shadows hiding his face. Tyrstan realizes that the consequences of revealing his identity will be disastrous. Everything he's tried so hard to hide will be exposed. It's a secret that is impossible to keep and the only girl who he wanted to hear it will never believe him. The Politically Incorrect Success System , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 308min
The cancer of "political correctness" has not only helped to form a society of insincere, oversensitive, and underachieving people - it has deprived individuals of the joy of living authentically and boldly, the life the late Henry David Thoreau called people to live when he implored us to move "confidently in the direction of our own dreams". Well, living authentically and boldly has never been a problem for Larry Winget. Known as the Pitbull of Personal Development®, Larry is not afraid to tell it like it is about what it takes to be successful. And he's also not afraid of skewering some of those well-known shibboleths of personal development - like the law of attraction and the path of "effortless success" that are peddled by so many motivational speakers. In this program Larry will take on the political correctness that has infected our society and the personal development industry. And he'll outline an effective "back to the basics" approach to help you be more successful. Larry still believes that hard work and excellence are the keys to success and communicates that like no other person on the planet can! Larry makes you think. He makes you uncomfortable. He offers common-sense solutions that are impossible to argue with. On top of all that, he is hilarious. Here's just a few things you'll learn in this unforgettable program: Why being politically correct will leave you unhappy, uninspired, and unsure about your future. Why it takes a contrarian approach to be successful and true to yourself in this upside-down politically correct world. Why you need to fix yourself first rather than putting your focus on how to fix others or society. Why letting go of your need for approval is essential to happiness. How to get to the point and ask for what you want in life - directly and decisively. How to make big, bold, and brash plans for your life. / ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Larry Winget. Gaslighting: A Christmas Tale: Personal Support Included: Toxic Others, Book 26 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 30min
You made sure everything would be perfect for Christmas. But I detest Christmas. I see no point in bringing other people cheer. I am the gaslighter. I only care about things that I can have and can get from other people. Other people don’t know me well enough to get me a gift, however. I reserve my right to throw a tantrum at every holiday party like I am still six years old.I throw a fit because I didn’t get what I wanted. I make my mommy feel bad, and I make you feel bad. Everyone feels bad except for me. I am impulsive. I am naughty. I am unconcerned for anyone else except for myself.I am fat and jolly; so slovenly and self-centered just like a newborn baby who cannot clean up after itself even though it eats everyone else out of house and home. I am demanding and pouty and insincere. Or, I am a curmudgeon with a miserly temperament who throws tantrums when I don’t get my way or when someone else’s opinion differs from mine. Or, I am the Peter Pan man who doesn’t give a hoot about all the people who must be around me to care for me because I’m too immature to care for myself. You all run around me and make it all better again. You are attracted to people you can fix, and I love when you offer to do all my work for me. You jump to my whim and pay attention to me. You let me take credit for all that you do, and I never have to show you any appreciation afterward. After all, that’s all I really wanted in the first place. Mommy will swoop in and buy me something even more expensive because I guilt tripped her.I will make her buy me that gift you were already planning to buy me so that I pit both of you against one another. I will make you feel guilty and bad for trying to get me anything to begin with. After all, I told you not to get me anything, remember? I told you last Christmas and the Christmas before. I told you when we met. And you...Download now to hear more. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Nick Hahn. Audio sample: https://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/183237/bk_acx0_183237_sample.mp3. Johnny Would You Love Me If My Dick Were Bigger , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 196min
Brontez is a raw tongue of flame blazing through all the blatant fakery and insincere bullshit of today’s gay/music/human scene. This audacious non-memoir burnt the hair off the back of my neck and had me rolling with glee.” (S.F. Bay Guardian)A dirty cult-classic put out in a small batch by an underground publisher (Rudos and Rubes) in 2015, Johnny Would You Love Me If My Dick Were Bigger recounts the life of an artist and “old school homosexual” who bears a big resemblance to author Brontez Purnell. Our hero doesn’t trust the new breed of fags taking over San Francisco, though. They wear bicycle helmets, seat belts, and condoms. Meanwhile, he sabotages his relationships, hallucinating affection while cruising in late night parks, bath houses, and other nooks and crannies of a newly conservative, ruined city.Furiously original, vital, and messy, this funny “non-memoir” uncovers a revelatory truth for the age: There are things far scarier than HIV. Set before the arrival of the internet, Neon Green will stun, unnerve, and charm listeners with its loving depiction of a suburban family living on the cusp of the future. 9781094415185 N N ©2021 Margaret Wappler;(P)2021 Scribd Audio http://www.audible.de/pd/1094415189?source_code=PNHFA145032019009G&ipRedirectOverride=true http://www.audible.de/pd/1094415189?source_code=PNHFA145032019009G&ipRedirectOverride=true Surviving Singleness: The Stress-Free Way (Unabridged) 15.95 AVAILABLE Surviving Singleness: The Stress-Free Way (Unabridged) Surviving Singleness (Unabridged) Shirley P. No Harm Done
"No Harm Done" is a beautiful record, from the title track opening with wood blocks and fun, to the heavy dark groove of "Insincere", from the blistering country romp of "Let Me Tell You", to the floating hypnotic orchestration of "So Long", this record touches all bases and touches them in the best possible way. 'Jehan Khoorshed is a talented Ottawa area singer-songwriter with a sometimes-country, sometimes-soul voice that puts him in the upper register of local talent. His songs are a mix of longing, lust, love, and loss - all connected with his wry humor, sense of irony and catchy melodies. 'Local music staple Matt Ouimet produced the album recording at the Resonator Studio in downtown Ottawa. Ouimet played a majority of the instruments but was joined for some tracks by some top names in the Ottawa scene: Phillip Victor Bova (studio and electronics wizard) lent bass skills, Phil Shaw Bova (Hilotrons, Empiricals) played drums and mixed the record, Steve Boudreau (Masters in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory) played keyboards, Mike Schultz (Hilotrons, Mike Essoudry's Mash Potato Mashers) played trombone, and Sarah Hallman lent vocals to the track "Rain". 'Jehan is very proud to have such a wonderful team working with him on such a great album. Good things are coming for Khoorshed with this gem in his hands.'- Shop: odax
