And by extension, how he shaped her life. Her need to know and to understand became a life-long pursuit. The Rope of Life: A Memoir is a daughter’s story told with love and compassion. Hidden History, Rain Engineering and UFO Reality
This book covers three interesting subject areas that span over a half-century in the life of Trevor James Constable. The hidden history area involves little-known military men and their amazing heroics. The rain engineering sections document the evolution of the technology along with the resulting proof of success the author experienced from around the world. If taken further, this technology could be a tremendous help to humanity. Lastly, the reality of UFOs covers flying, biological creatures that were found to reside in the hidden ultraviolet spectrum of our skies. When witnessed, these beings can be mistaken for unknown craft that are thought to be piloted by humans or aliens rather than being alive in their own right and resident to the earth. The pioneering work of Trevor James Constable is still ahead of its time. The compelling scientific proof presented here leaves little doubt that we have much more to learn about ourselves and the world around us.- Shop: buecher

Captain George Flavel , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 191min
Astoria, Oregon, owes its existence as much to a little-known ship captain as its namesake, John Jacob Astor. Captain George Flavel happened upon the ramshackle village at the mouth of the Columbia River in the fall of 1849, bringing goods during the California Gold Rush. As he subsequently captained and piloted three different ships along the Pacific coast, he learned that the perilous Columbia River Bar, the "graveyard of the Pacific", barred the entrance to most mariners. Hazards abounded. Powerful tides and currents merged with the river's flow, storms, and winds to produce towering waves and an ever-shifting bar - a living, breathing peril to lives, shipping, and cargo. But Flavel recognized that a wise and knowledgeable pilot could master this peril and possibly build a career, a future, and the town of Astoria at the river's mouth. ungekürzt. Language: English. Only the Wing: Reimar Horten's Epic Quest to Stabilize and Control the All-Wing Aircraft / With a New Introduction
Reissued in paperback with a revised and expanded Introduction: In the late 1920s, Reimar Horten began experimenting with flying models equipped with fuselages, stabilizers, rudders, and elevators, but his life's work involved systematically removing these components from models until he could achieve flight with only the wing. Not only were pure wings more difficult to design with the stability and controls needed to fly, they were harder to place in practical roles not already filled by conventional aircraft operating for less support and lower operational costs. Always seeking to increase performance and efficiency, Horten adopted a multidisciplinary approach after flying his first piloted wing in 1933, eventually breaking new ground in cockpit design and construction materials. His most important innovation was the unique pattern he developed to distribute lift over his wings, the result of his efforts to refine the aerodynamic control of all-wing aircraft, often while working alone and in difficult circumstances. Two days after Horten passed away in 1993, the Royal Aeronautical Society awarded him the British Gold Medal for Outstanding Achievement in Aeronautics.- Shop: buecher

Impact: Phantom Air Combat, Book 5 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 175min
Flying the Jaguar bomber in a Cold War West Germany, Nick Gleason is, perhaps, at the peak of his career but he is a loner struggling with his conscience and he begins to question the morality of his role. If war in Europe breaks out, he would be tasked to deliver a thermo-nuclear weapon to a target in the East. Two British fighter aircraft, one a Phantom, the second a Jaguar piloted by Gleason, converge at low level over the Osnabruck Ridge on the North German Plain. One is armed with a practice nuclear bomb, the other simply conducting a routine training exercise but their flight paths are destined to cross. Events have been far from routine as the crews are drawn towards the encounter that threatens to jeopardize their very existence. Was a mid-air collision inevitable from the outset or could the, seemingly, inexorable chain of events have been broken? Was destruction predestined? The countdown to impact is underway. ungekürzt.
