The Call of Cthulhu: Audio Book Bestseller Classics Collection , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 82min
H.P. Lovecraft's most famous story in an amazing audio experience! “The Old Ones ruled the earth aeons before the rise of man. Traces of their cyclopean cities can still be found on remote islands, buried amid the shifting desert sands, and in the frozen wastes of the polar extremes. Originally they came to this world from the stars. They sleep now, some deep within the earth or beneath the sea. When the stars are right they shall again walk the earth.” ungekürzt. Deathmaster: Adventures in the 39th Uncharted Dimension , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 200min
Enter a world that is the ultimate valentine to those cheap and cheesy sci-fi/fantasy flicks from the 80s - a world with hot chicks, blind cyclopean wizards with bad attitudes, swamp zombies, purple cannibalistic aliens, talking gambling mutants that will cook you breakfast, hover-bikes, a gigantic ghost warrior, a ninja, a recently divorced and suicidal sorcerer, dragons, a cyborg demon and borrowed movie dialogue. All this you say and no musical number? That's what sequels are for. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: J. Scott Bennett. The Call of Cthulhu , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 87min
The narrator, Francis Wayland Thurston, recounts his discovery of notes left behind by his grand-uncle, Brown University linguistic professor George Gammell Angell, after his death in the winter of 1926-27. Among the notes is a small bas-relief sculpture of a scaly creature which yields "simultaneous pictures of an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature". The sculptor, a Rhode Island art student named Henry Anthony Wilcox, based the work on delirious dreams of "great Cyclopean cities of titan blocks and sky-flung monoliths". Frequent references to Cthulhu and R'lyeh are found in Wilcox's papers. Angell also discovers reports of mass hysteria around the world. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Ron Welch. Dark Hall Press Cosmic Horror Anthology , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 272min
In his essay "Supernatural Horror in Literature", H.P. Lovecraft famously noted that "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." Dark Hall Press is proud to present our Cosmic Horror Anthology, 10 tales of nameless terror from some of the most exciting voices in the field. It's all here, from stories of subtle, invasive menace to tales of full-fledged cyclopean horrors; from alien worlds to the yawning holes in perception where strange forces lurk; where nature takes on a terrifying sentience and one is not safe even in dreams. We at Dark Hall invite you to join us in celebration of the modern weird tale, to cast off the veil of reason and see the universe for what it truly is - frightening and uncontrollable. Includes "The Yellow Dust" by Oliver Smith, "The Interview" by James Pratt, "The Unknown" by Tim Jeffreys, "Night Terrors" by Mike Pieloor, "The Eye of the Beholder" by Darin Kennedy, "Starstruck" by Shenoa Carroll-Bradd, "Godess of our Fathers" by Josh Strnad, "The Events of Frenchman's Creek" by DJ Tyrer, "The Ceiling with No Hook" by Johannes Pinter, "A Drawing of the Sky, a Song of Change" by Bear Weiter. ungekürzt. The Call of Cthulhu
Boston, 1926. Francis Thurston goes through documents left behind by his grandfather's brother, recently deceased under mysterious circumstances. He soon discovers the existence of a cult that worships ancient and unspeakable horrors. Mysterious murders, blood rituals in the depths of the Louisiana swamps, artists who descend into insanity after nightmarish visions, and a Cyclopean city that rises from the sea. Step by step, Thurston realizes that his relative's research got too close to the truth. In the shadows, there are those who want to wake the sleeping god Cthulhu in order to spread madness and destruction over the entire world. The stars are right. Is the end near? H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu, first published in 1928, is one of the greatest classics of American horror literature. Cthulhu himself, dreaming and waiting at the bottom of the sea, became a symbol for the entire mythology that Lovecraft created. François Baranger, an illustrator who has previously worked in film and games, was fascinated early on by Lovecraft's creatures and visions which populated the darkest recesses of fantasy. In this book, he has taken on the work of illustrating Lovecraft's most iconic novel.- Shop: buecher

Pegasus QWOCTH10 - Dice Towers: Call of Cthulhu Color Dice Tower
"We wanted to make an exceptional Call Of Cthulhu Dice Tower (7), that could be created as a part of Call of Cthulhu Metal Dice Set Kickstarter campaign. The working title for this project was “R’Lyeh”, as the most famous Mythos City. Philip H. Lovecraft wrote about R’lyeh as an abnormal, cyclopean, non-Euclidean, and loathsomely redolent of spheres and dimensions other than ours. As this place is sunken in the ocean since aeons, the dice tower should be covered with tentacles and all the features, that are the proof of staying long under water in Cthulhu’s lair, It is not so easy to design a Dice Tower with all this blasphemous characteristic and make a really usable game’s handout. Non-Euclidean geometry has its requirements. Great Cthulhu has his demands. We did it. It was not easy, but today we proudly present to all buyers real Call Of Cthulhu Dice Tower. This product is made with sturdy materials (MDF), decorated with blasphemous ornaments and designed with a taint of madness. Set allows you to build the tower on your own from separate pieces without any tools. The Call of Cthulhu Dice Tower dimensions: 16 cm (6.3"") of length, 7,5 cm (2.95"") of width and 16 cm (6.2"") of heigth. "- Shop: buecher

The Crimson Shadow (eBook, ePUB)
"Fine adventure" in the complete New York Times-bestselling fantasy trilogy from the legendary million-selling author and creator of Drizzt Do'Urden (Terry Brooks). This "worthy, entertaining addition to fantasy literature" tells the epic saga of a righteous warrior/avenger who battles an evil wizard, dragons, and cyclopean armies to liberate an imperiled kingdom (Starlog). The Sword of Bedwyr: Luthien Bedwyr vows to rescue the beleaguered land of Eriador from the evil reign of Wizard-King Greensparrow. But first Luthien must secure two weapons from a dragon's lair: a legendary sword and a blood-red cape that renders its wearer invisible. Aided by a halfling thief, an ancient mage, and a beautiful elf slave, Luthien prepares for insurgence as the Crimson Shadow. Luthien's Gamble: With the rallying support of enslaved humans, defiant peasants, and Fairborn elves, Luthien has forged a path for the freedom of his kingdom as the avenging Crimson Shadow. But when his tyrannical adversary makes a bid for peace by calling back his army of cyclops, Luthien suspects the evil wizard is setting a trap. The Dragon King: Luthien Bedwyr's alter ego wields a magical sword and wears a scarlet cape that renders him invisible. But his greatest enemy, the evil Wizard-King, has a counterpart of his own: an unstoppable, bloodthirsty colossus of a dragon. Now the ultimate battle for a kingdom will reach its spellbinding endgame in the rousing finale to a trilogy "filled with memorable characters and compelling action" (Terry Brooks).- Shop: buecher
