The AD7927 is a 12-bit, high speed, low power, 8-channel, successive approximation ADC. The part operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V power supply and features throughput rates up to 200 kSPS. The part contains a low noise, wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies in excess of 8 MHz. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CS and the serial clock signal, allowing the device to easily interface with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled on the falling edge of CS and the conversion is also initiated at this point. There are no pipeline delays associated with the part.

The AD7791 is a low power, complete analog front end for low frequency measurement applications. It contains a low noise 24-bit ?-? ADC with one differential input that can be buffered or unbuffered. The device operates from an internal clock. Therefore, the user does not have to supply a clock source to the device. The output data rate from the part is software programmable and can be varied from 9.5 Hz to 120 Hz, with the rms noise equal to 1.1 µV at the lower update rate. The internal clock frequency can be divided by a factor of 2,4, or 8, which leads to a reduction in the current consumption. The update rate, cutoff frequency, and settling time will scale with the clock frequency.

The ADuC832 is a complete, smart transducer front end, integrating a high performance self-calibrating multichannel 12-bit ADC, dual 12-bit DACs, and programmable 8-bit MCU on a single chip. The device operates from a 32 kHz crystal with an on-chip PLL, generating a high frequency clock of 16.78 MHz. This clock is, in turn, routed through a programmable clock divider from which the MCU core clock operating frequency is generated. The microcontroller core is an 8052 and is therefore 8051 instruction set compatible with 12 core clock periods per machine cycle. 62 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE program memory are provided on chip. There are also 4 kB of nonvolatile Flash/EE data memory, 256 bytes of RAM, and 2 kB of extended RAM integrated on chip.

The DS1243Y 64K NV, SRAM with Phantom Clock is a fully static nonvolatile RAM (organized as 8192 words by 8 bits) with a built-in real time clock. The DS1243Y has a self-contained lithium energy source and control circuitry, which constantly monitors V, CC for an out-of-tolerance condition. When such a condition occurs, the lithium energy source is automatically switched on and write protection is unconditionally enabled to prevent corrupted data in both the memory and real time clock. The Phantom Clock provides timekeeping information including hundredths of seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year information. The date at the end of the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including correction for leap years. The Phantom Clock operates in either 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator.
