For teenagers Chris and Miles, working at the city zoo in the summer is a pretty sweet gig. They chase girls, smoke a little dope, and avoid thinking about their rapidly approaching futures. One is headed to college, and one to…who knows? But then the Zombie Apocalypse hits, and things get weird. Deadly animals, psychotic house painters, and a face-humping lemur named Sexy Rexy all get thrown into the mix, with plenty of laughs and chills to go around. To top it all off, there’s something way more dangerous than zombies lurking in the shadows. Dead Drunk 2.5 can be listened to as a humorous standalone novel, or after book two of the best-selling horror-comedy series, Dead Drunk: Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse... One Beer at a Time.  ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Neil Hellegers. Audio sample: https://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/219688/bk_acx0_219688_sample.mp3. Digital audiobook in aax.

A humorous and sometimes thought provoking take on the crazy events that occurred during the 2016 election season and right up through the inauguration, centering around that whirlwind of narcissistic sociopath himself, Donald Trump. Twenty-five poems about Trump, his rogue's gallery of supporters and opponents, as well the media chronicling it. If you feel ready to burst into tears at any moment, this book will offer a short respite of laughter before you go back to contemplating doomsday. We will answer many questions, most of which you never considered asking. What do Trump and Dorian Gray have in common? (Hint: it's not upper class British manners.) What's worse than a week with Ted Cruz? Which Fox News personality do the authors hate the most? (There may be no wrong answer.) Who is scared of Mike Pence? Raise your hand. Why would Morning Joe be better without Joe? Who do you think best fits the description of a "cornpone Giuliani"? Will the authors end up in Gitmo? Will we receive a thank you note from Jimmy Fallon? Poems: "Alternative Facts are Just Other Words for Nothing Left to Truth" "Midnight in Gotham" "Four Surrogates of the Apocalypse Now" "The Popular Vote Still Gets His Goat" "Thanks Obama" "A Street Car Named Lindsey" "Fox and Friends - Breakfast with Morons" "Late Night Christmas in June" "Birther Redux" "A Week with Ted Cruz" "Der Furor" "Thumb on the Scale" "Fox News - Unfair and I'm Becoming Balanced" "The Portrait of Reverse Dorian Gray" "Landslide? Warning: This book makes jokes about the Third Reich, the Reign of Terror, World War I, cancer, Millard Fillmore, and Chernobyl. Advertising legend Jim Riswold is a big f---ing deal. Ask him, he'll tell you. But when Riswold is stricken with leukemia and prostate cancer (a two-fer!), the freewheeling adman quits making commercials and starts making art. But not just any art - Hitler art. Mussolini art. Stalin-in-a-bathtub art. This is not a sad cancer story. This is a molotov cocktail of raunch and heart and 18-gauge biopsy guns. This is a taboo-busting laugh riot, a raspberry blown straight at dying-guy preciousness and monsters of all kinds - cancer and world-historical bad guys included. Be warned - contents of this book include: One profanity-spiked TEDx talk Two adorable children Something called "Interferon Family Fun Night" Jim Riswold leading a crowd of people in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" to his oncologist Relentlessly funny and scorchingly subversive, this is a bruised and bruising memoir - it is also tubed, scarred, stapled, and irradiated. But here's the secret: Jim Riswold, enfant terrible, the man Charles Barkley once called "a role model for morons", is kind of a sweetheart. The wise-guy posturing is just a cover for his pulpy heart. Another secret: This book isn't about Hitler. It's about the beautiful, stupid, gross, foolish, and fantastic things we're willing to do for love and family and not-dying. It's about a guy who, with due respect to Lou Gehrig, considers himself the luckiest man on the face of the earth. Really, Jim Riswold owes cancer a thank you. Thanks to cancer, his tombstone will no longer read: Here Lies That Guy Who Did That "Bo Knows" Commercial. Now, it will say Here Lies the Guy Who Put Cancer in Its Place - and Mussolini on a Tricycle. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Jeffrey Kafer. Emotions enhance our life walk. We have love, joy, happiness, with love being the greatest and most effective emotion we have. We also have the opposite emotions: anger, hatred, greed, envy, pride, etc, all of which will bring us down. If we believe in God, then there is but pure love; if we believe in anything else, then it's the Devil - the antithasis of all that's good. And if we impose conditions on love, then that is our downfall too. Wisdom, compassion, and understanding go a long way to us seeing the "bigger picture" in life, as does education. Hence in poor countries they remain that way as they know no better. If we do not control our emotions, they will control us. Our emotions come from the same place - the brain - the place that all of our functions come from. If we make excuses, such as "if you knew what I'd been through" or "I had to do it" or "they made me" or whatever, then you are giving away your authority to others or some ficticious third party called "they". Going or getting hysterica, such as Middle Eastern people do predominantly, is a lacking in character, hence they remain substandard and unreliable. (Go there and find out yourself). Even some people closer to home prefer to hide behind an emotion they have allowed to develop than to see reason. It is a total weakness of character. You can never trust such people, as when the going gets tough they go to pieces. This audio download is for those who want more control of themselves, as well as clarity and strength to deal with the selfish morons who always use hysteria, tears, or anything else to try and get their way - the losers in life. ungekürzt. A giant redneck in Fairyland, what could possibly go wrong?Everything. Absolutely everything.Monsters, Magic, & Mayhem collects four novellas chronicling Bubba the Monster Hunter's trip through the lands of the Fae in search of his kidnapped sister. Yeah, he didn't know he had a sister, either. And that joke's old, man.Into the Mystic - Bubba and his troupe of merry morons has to find their way to Fairyland to rescue his sister. It's not as easy as it sounds, and it involves Bubba learning a lot of uncomfortable truths about why his mother walked out and his maybe not-quite human heritage.Cold as Ice - Bubba meets his grandmother, which should be great. Except she's the psychotic Queen of the Winter Court and wants to pretty much murder everyone. There's torture, tights, and Bubba dancing. Which is pretty much torture in tights. So lots of torture. Hot Blooded - Bubba and co. travel to the Summer Court in their quest for his sister, only to find that his grandfather, while less abjectly psychopathic than his ex-wife, Mab, is still kind of a douche. And just when the team thought they were on the right track to finish their quest, there's a dragon. A dragon. This is not something growing up in Georgia prepares you for.Shades of Grey - Bubba is closing in on his sister and her kidnapper, the Shakespearean trickster Puck. Except, he's not like hot Loki trickster. He's more like cut-your-throat-while-you-sleep-and-tell-you-a-knock-knock-joke-while-you're-bleeding-out trickster. Bubba has to battle his way through a horde of zombies just to get the opportunity to go on an old-fashioned dungeon crawl (with spiders, because...dungeon) to maybe finally confront Puck and save his sister. Then they get home, and things get really screwed up! ungekürzt.
