Ein Cover zum Niederknien... Eine herrliche Fundgrube mit Soundtracks italienischer Filme der 60er /70er vom Mann hinter Mah nà Mah nà (Muppet Show, Sesamstrasse)Ein Cover zum Niederknien... Eine herrliche Fundgrube mit Stücken von Piero Umiliani, dem legendären Soundtrack-Komponisten italienischer Filme der 60er und 70er und dem Mann hinter Mah nà Mah nà (Muppet Show, Benny Hill, Sesame Street). We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records is thrilled to announce the vinyl re-release of sought-after experimental gem Il Mondo Dei Romani by soundtrack and avant-garde maestro Piero Umiliani, remastered straight from the original reels and available for the first time since 1972! Originally recorded for a TV documentary about ancient Rome and released on Omnicron (Umiliani's label), Il Mondo Dei Romani finds Piero Umiliani experimenting with electronic instruments (his oscillators) to offer a fascinating rendition of what synthesizer-based avant-garde ancient Roman music would sound like - a weird and extremely hypnotizing retro-futuristic experience where faux cithara, lyre, organ, and trumpet sounds are driven by proto-techno sequences and minimalist rhythms. This brilliant electronic oddity is the perfect companion to WRWTFWW's previous Piero Umiliani release, Tra scienza e fantascienza, and is a limited edition of 500 orange vinyl LPs (no digital). ABOUT PIERO UMILIANI Born in 1926, Piero Umiliani began his career as a jazz pianist (occasionally recording with Chet Baker) and started working on film soundtracks in the late 50s. Known as the man who brought jazz to Italian cinema, he left his mark on a long series of notorious Giallo and Mondo movies, soft sex films and Eurospy thrillers, getting praise for mastering sleazy funk, experimental electronica, or jazzy themes, and making a name among his peers named Ennio Morricone or Riz Ortolani. It was with the Swedish Mondo Sweden Heaven and Hell that Piero landed his biggest hit - the infamous Mah nà Mah nà (originally Hooray for the Swedish Sauna) which would later be used in Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, Benny Hill and many more. The title Ridah Muzic describes the feel of the album which is mainly an album you can pop in the CD player in your car and ride around town handling your business, it's an inspiration to your hustle, it's the kind of music you roll down your windows and turn up your system to. The first track 'Vegas Heat' is a mid tempto bass heavy all purpose banger, you can bang this one in the car or the club and get the same reaction. The production on this track sounds like timbaland in his golden days and comes courtesy of Down South producer Dj Xman. '7:02' is a west coast neck breaker describing the 24 hour party scene in Las Vegas, with R & B singer Bluzi laying down the smooth chorus and his fellow camp members Demon, Epick and G fatigue (rip) assisting in filling out the track nicely. ' Bout that Dough' features Mopreme Shakur the brother of Tupac Shakur and R&B singer G Money who also recorded tracks with Tupac. In 'Read em like a Book' he talks about the reality of being a rapper and the hypocricies of the music game, he also takes a jab at commercial radio ' 20 g's to get radio play man that's b**l s**t, what ever to the fans choosing, and you wonder what's wrong in hip hop and why the bad music'. 'Get This Money' is a hustlers anthem, it's motavational music no matter what business you are in and Docwel's raspy voice and precise delivery compliments the slow hypnotizing instrumental. The quality of the overall album is amazing and Ridah Muzic is an album that will not let down.

The Imports forged their unique brand of post-punk in the quiet and tree-lined neighborhood of Hyde Park on the South Side of Chicago in the spring of 1980. Making up the core of the Imports were Ben Krug (vocals), Tom Krug (guitar) and Joe Strell (bass). Like many bands, the Imports went through a series of drummers including John Krug, who helped establish the Imports as one of a scarce few Chicago punk bands in 1980, Alec Dale, who accompanied the outfit through it's transition from punk to post-punk, and finally Tom Wall, who with his inimitable minimalism completed the band's singular sound that would prove to be decades ahead of it's time. Initially, the Imports played a quick pop punk set of originals inspired by late seventies American and British punk acts such as Iggy Pop, the New York Dolls, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols, the Clash, and the Jam. Their repertoire soon swelled to over sixty originals, few of which ran much longer than two minutes, if that. The songs were fast and to the point, their earnest vocals and basic harmonies backed by driving durms, a melodic three-string bass, and the grist of a Gibson SG Junior Les Paul pumped through a Fender Twin Reverb. However, soon after their Chicago debut at the club Ann Arkees on March 6, 1980, the Imports traded their high-intensity pop-punk bombast for a hypnotizing style wrought of brooding melancholy.

We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records is delighted to announce the release of Nino Nardini's experimental/musique concrète/sci-fi masterpiece MUSIQUE POUR LE FUTUR, available for the first time since 1970 and housed in a phosphorescent glow-in-the-dark heavy cardboard sleeve from the future! Originally recorded for Crea Sound Ltd, a sub-label of Louis Delacour's Neuilly imprint, MUSIQUE POUR LE FUTUR finds French composer, arranger, producer, possible time traveler, and all around music library legend Nino Nardini experimenting with synthesizers, percussions, prepared piano, echo, and special effects. Fans of electronic oddities, eerie cinematic audio-landscapes, Piero Umiliani or Bernard Parmegiani will rejoice at this full-length musical adventure that could very well be the soundtrack for a film in which characters from a 70s Italian horror movie visit a distant (forbidden) planet from a 50s sci-movie. It's bizarre, hypnotizing, slightly spooky, always out-of-this-world and goddamn BRILLIANT! Nino Nardini, also known as Georges Teperino, had a very fruitful career in library music, much like longtime collaborator Roger Roger. He composed a very large amount of works for French and British libraries which continues to be featured in numerous programs (radio, tv, films) all around the world. His passion for electronic music experimentations began in the late 60s and kept going till the 80s.
